Rigging and Dogging Services

Qualified riggers and dogmen who get it right.

At Ram’s Cranes and Rigging, our rigging team is involved from the moment a lift is planned, not just when the crane arrives.

Every load is assessed, every connection checked, and every movement directed with precision to keep your site safe and your schedule on track.

What is the difference between a rigger and a dogman?
A rigger is responsible for preparing and attaching the load to the crane using appropriate rigging equipment. A dogman directs the crane operator during the lift using hand signals or radio communication. Both roles require a formal licence and are critical to a safe lift.
Yes. All of our riggers and dogmen hold current licences issued under Australian standards. We maintain up-to-date records of all crew certifications and ensure ongoing competency across our team.
We have experience rigging a wide range of loads including structural steel, precast concrete panels, machinery, equipment, and materials across residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
Yes. When you book crane hire through Ram’s Cranes and Rigging, we provide the full crew including rigging and dogging support. You do not need to source these separately.
